1. Squats
Directions
- Stand with feet placed at shoulder-width and toes slightly pointing out.
- Stretch out your arms.
- Make sure your head is up and your back is straight throughout the workout.
- Lower upper body by bending your hips and knees.
- Do this until the angle between your calves and upper leg is a little lower than 90 degrees.
- Push off the ground by using your quads to return to starting position.
- Repeat till you get tired.
2. Sumo Jump Squats
Directions
- Stand with your feet slightly above shoulder-width apart and toes slightly pointing out.
- Make sure your head is up and your back is straight throughout the workout.
- Lower upper body by bending your hips and knees.
- Ensure that your hands are just together just in front of your body.
- Do this until the angle between your calves and upper leg is a little lower than 90 degrees.
- At this point, your hands should be touching the ground.
- Jump off the floor as high as possible and land returning to your starting position.
- Repeat as many times as possible.

3. Side Lunges
Directions
- Stand with your legs a little bit wider than shoulder-width apart and your toes slightly pointing forward.
- Rest your body on one leg, bending your knee until it is at a 90-degree angle and your other leg remains straight.
- Your glutes should be pressing backward at your back.
- Return to the starting position then switches sides.
- Do 10 Reps
4. Elevated Lunges
Directions
- Start by standing in front of a step by a few feet.
- Then reach left foot backward so that your toes are on the step and your heels raised.
- Bend your right knee such that your body lowers towards the ground until your two knees are at a 90-degree angle.
- Move your right foot a little bit forward if right knee extends to the front of your ankle when you lower your body.
- Squeeze glutes as you return to the starting position, resting your weight on your right leg.
- Keep moving up and down for 10 reps or preferred number of reps then switch sides.
5. Dumbbell Lunges
Directions
- Start in a position where your torso is upright and hold a dumbbell in each hand.
- Step forward using one leg until your thigh and shin form a 90-degree angle (inhale while doing this).
- Make sure your knee is never in front of your toes.
- Push yourself back to your starting position using your heels (exhale while doing this).
- Repeat 15 times
6.Glute Kickbacks
Directions
- Start by kneeling on an exercise mat or on the ground keep your arms extended, shoulder-width apart & rectangular to torso.
- Your hamstring and calves should form a 90-degree angle throughout this exercise.
- Lift right leg until your hamstring forms a straight line with your back. Hold for some seconds.
- Return to your starting position and repeat with your left leg.
- Repeat this 10 times
7. Barbell Step Ups
Directions
- Place a barbell on your shoulders. Then stand up straight, behind a step or a flat bench.
- Place your right foot on the step and let your left foot slowly coming up to place it beside your right foot.
- Step down with your left foot then place your right foot beside it.
- Switch legs then repeat as many times as possible.
8. Single Leg Hamstring Bridge
Directions
- Lie on your back with your knees bent hip-distance apart, your feet on the mat.
- Extend one of your legs towards the ceiling.
- Squeeze your glutes then lift your hips off mat to a bridge position.
- Lower & lift your hips for your preferred number of reps.
- Repeat using the other leg.
9. Single-Leg Dead Lift
Directions
- Stand with your legs hip-width apart. Hold one lightweight in each of your hands such that your palms are facing your body and the weights are resting on your thighs.
- Lift your right leg a couple of inches off the ground to begin.
- Pivot forward from your hips, lowering your torso towards the ground & extending weights down very close to your legs
- Then extend your left leg to your back until your body forms a T-shape.
- Return to your starting position slowly.
- Do about 15 reps.
- Switch sides and repeat.
